Pow Wow a huge success.

With more than 100 members in attendance Pow Wow was a huge success. This was the largest Pow Wow in recent years.

The week end started off with a rededication ceremony and a pictoral recap of the past year. A lot of new faces and a few of the old faces were in attendance. Coming off the swell of the National Jamboree, Patch Trading was back with a vengence.

The Lodge Trading Post was open for the entire weekend. Many new items were on sale. The new "Blue Woa" with a companion back patch and round as well as a new neckerchief were introduced.

On Saturday the big event was held. A very unorthodox version of kick ball was played. With the red team and blue teams facing each other, the game was played in the rain. Several challenge elements were added to the event. 100 popcicles, Hula Hoops, hand stands, Balls, Balls, Balls. Thanks to the impartial judges for keeping things fair. From the newest to the oldest all who participated came away wet but with a smile on their face.

Mr.D. handled the outside cooking while BIG Jim and his all girl crew took care of the inside work.

With the Lodge business meeting concluded, a pool party and Cracker Barrel broke out to finish the evening.

Pinetreat was a great venue for this function. Having this new (old) Camp gives the Lodge a few more options for functions.
