CONCLAVE 2012 

Conclave Purpose & Mission Statement 

Woa Cholena Lodge 322 will be the service lodge for the 2012 SR-1B area conclave. The event will be held at Camp Pinetreat, and will have participants from 6 lodges from Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.

The purpose of this guidebook is to provide a detailed outline of how we have organized this event to ensure the fulfillment of the responsibilities of the service lodge.   The guide also contains recommended budgetary items, methods of promotion and recruitment, as well as a detailed timeline of the events and due dates leading up to the conclave.

The mission of the Conclave Planning Committee is as follows:

Recruit as many members of the lodge as possible to help successfully carry-out the duties of the service lodge.

Meet all deadlines as set by the Section COC and the Conclave Planning Committee.

Stay within budgetary guidelines as directed by the Section COC and the Conclave Planning Committee.

Insure that each conclave delegate and service lodge member receives the appropriate value of merchandise, food, and services for which they have paid. 

Properly prepare Camp Pinetreat for the event.

Adequately meet the facilities and program needs as directed by the Section COC and Conclave Planning Committee;

Insure that the prevailing attitude of the Committee is positive and that the highest level of cooperation exists between the members of the Committee and the LEC.

Insure that each conclave delegate and service lodge member has a positive conclave experience.

Provide leadership opportunities to the youth involved in fulfilling the responsibilities of the service lodge.

Conclave Registration/Trading Post Order (due before February 15, 2012)

Service Lodge Patch Criteria

Each Arrowman will be able to purchase one service lodge patch/flap for every scheduled lodge service day of work completed (7 hours).

Conclave staff will be able to purchase one service lodge patch/flap for special scheduled events and meetings as determined by the conclave chairman and adviser.

One patch/flap will be given per committee chairman for year round work on staff.

Conclave Chairman will be able to distribute a small amount of service lodge patch/flaps as recognition, special achievements, and extra effort that might not be publicly seen, with the approval of the conclave adviser.

Only registered members of Woa Cholena 322 will be allowed to earn service lodge flaps.
