Woa Cholena Lodge is an itergral part of the Mobile Area Council and has been serving the youth of the council since 1945.
Woa Cholena Has five Chapters serving the districts in the Council.The Mobile Area Council serves Youth in Southwest Alabama. Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, and Clarke counties make up the Council service area.
The Council spans from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the pine forests of Clarke County. Alabama's entire coastal area of sugar white sand beaches fall within the Council service area. The Council maintains and operates two camps Maubila Scout Reservation (Camp Maubila) in Clarke County and Camp Pinetreat in Baldwin County. The Council Service Center is located in Mobile Alabama a full service of Professional and suppport staff. Located at the service center is a full line Scout Shop.
Our Lodge chartered in 1945 as White Fang and now as Woa Cholena has been an itergral part of the Mobile Area Council since the beginning. The lodge has five functions each year Pow Wow, Winter Fellowship, Spring and Winter Ordeals, and the Annual Banquet. The Lodge provides service to the Council and all of it's activities as well as the Council Camps.
